Indian Young Professionals Scheme Visa

An Indian young professionals scheme visa allows young adults aged 18 to 30 from India to enter the UK for a period of 2 years to live, study, or work. You would need to have a qualification at a bachelor’s degree level or above. You cannot however apply if you have any children under the age of 18 who live with you or you are financially responsible for any children under the age of 18. To apply, you would first need to enter a ballot and if successful, you would have 90 days to apply for the visa. This visa does not allow you to apply for indefinite leave to remain.

Who can apply for a Indian Young Professionals Scheme Visa?

To apply for an Indian young professionals scheme visa, you generally must meet the following requirements:

  • Be aged between 18 to 30 on the date of the application and you must be an Indian national.
  • You must have a qualification at a bachelor’s degree level or above.
  • You must have held funds in the sum of £2,530.00 for a 28-day period prior to submitting your application.
  • You must not have any children under the age of 18 living with you or must not be financially responsible for any children under the age of 18.
