Innovator Founder Visa

An innovator founder visa allows you to set up and run an innovative business in the UK which is unique and different from anything else on the market. The business idea must be new, innovative, viable and scalable. An endorsing body approved by the Home Office would also need to endorse your business idea to confirm that it meets the requirements. The visa is initially granted for 3 years and can be extended for a further 3 years subject to satisfying certain criteria. After you have completed a period of 3 years you will be eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain subject to satisfying certain criteria.

  • Be over the age of 18.
  • Demonstrate a satisfactory level of English language unless an exception applies.
  • Have the minimum amount of savings required to support yourself.
  • Have a business idea that is unique and is innovative, viable and scalable.
  • Obtain endorsement from a Home Office-approved endorsing body.
