There are a number of ways in which you could qualify for this visa including if you are a child under the age of 18 and have spent at least 7 years continuously in the UK and it would be unreasonable to expect you to return, if you are aged between 18 and 24 and have lived in the UK continuously for more than half your life, if you are aged 18 and over and have spent less than 20 years in the UK but you have reasons as to why you cannot return to your country of birth or you have been living in the UK for a continuous period of 20 years.
You could also submit an application if you are born to a person who has permission to stay on the basis of private life or is in the process of applying on this basis.
