A bereaved partner application allows you to apply for indefinite leave to remain in the event that sadly your partner has passed away. You can apply for this if you were granted leave to remain as a partner of someone who is British, settled, an EEA national with pre-settled status, a Turkish national with leave to remain as a worker/business person granted before 1 January 2021 or have leave to remain in the UK as a refugee or humanitarian protection. You would need to demonstrate that prior to the passing of your partner, you were in a genuine and subsisting relationship.
