Administrative Review

When an application you have submitted is unfortunately refused, it can of course be disheartening however you may be given a right to challenge it by way of administrative review on the basis that you believe the decision to refuse your application was incorrect. The Home Office would review the original decision and confirm whether your administrative review was successful. If successful, you will be granted the visa you applied for. You can apply for administrative review online.

If you are outside the UK, you will have 28 days from the date you receive the refusal decision to submit an administrative review. If you are applying from within the UK, you will have 14 days to submit an administrative review usually from the date of refusal.
